cross country track meet - october 16Congratulations to Keziah and Dylan who were part of the Jarvis Cross Country team and took part in the meet at Sunshine Hills school on October 16th. Joining cross country is an intensive commitment as there are always only a couple of weeks in which to train. Dylan and Keziah came out every day at lunch time to run about 1.5 km. The day of the meet was sunny and warm. Everyone had a wonderful time. The Great egg drop - october 23Each year Mr. Hirose's Grade 4/5 class is challenged to discover a way to protect an egg from the stresses of being dropped off the roof of the school. Conner took part in this year's scientific competition and great success. His egg made it! Congratulations Conner. Make sure you watch the video below! halloween 2013Halloween is a fun time at Jarvis. We got into the spirit by painting spooky houses. Then on October 31st almost everyone got dressed up in the afternoon. Can you believe it? We even had healthy Halloween snacks (thanks to Mrs. Leone!) We also learned how to write a cinquain poem. Look for them in our photo gallery below. Click on the photo below to start the slide show! diwali 2013 - A Festival of lights
