Brainpop Arctic Habitats - see Ms. Palmer for the password. This movie explains why the Arctic is such an extreme environment and how the plants, animals and people have adapted to survive.
1. Watch the movie 2. When you are finished complete either the Hard or Easy quiz found in your Arctic journal (finish both and earn a spin for doing "More than Expected".) |

The Great Arctic Hunter - the Inuit have thrived in their northern environment. Traditional hunting strategies and skills have been passed down through stories and demonstrated by elders.
1. Complete this interactive challenge and learn how the Inuit respect the animals and their environment. 2. Fill out the worksheet in your Arctic journal as you work through the Quest. 3. Print out the certificate when you are finished and put in your journal. |

Global warming is having a huge impact on the world and especially Arctic. The Environmental Protection Agencies Student's Guide to Global Climate Change can help you to learn about the problem and ways you can help.
1. Watch the video The Arctic: Melting Sea Ice. 2. Watch the Environmental Protection Agencies video to learn about climate change is and ways you can help to prevent further damage.
3. Complete and send the Jotform on both videos to Ms. Palmer.
