Thank you so much to the parents who volunteered their time to drive and help; to the Pony Pals volunteers who helped with the ponies, to Candice and Tina for making it all possible and to Thumbeline, Ozzie and Poptart for being such great ponies.. We had an excellent time and learned some new skills. It was unanimous that we should come again!
Today we had a chance to make some new four-legged friends (and some two-legged ones as well). We went on a field trip to the Pony Pals Riding Stable. There we learned about basic horse safety, had a chance to try out three different ponies and finished by grooming them until they shone. The motto of the Pony Pals Therapeutic Riding Association is "Where Riders are UNlimited". All the horses and ponies are selected for their calm temperments and specially trained to be patient.
